All Mt. Pleasant rules and regulations apply to any guest staying or visiting this property. Upon booking this property you agree to obeying the town rules.

NOISE-
§ 132.03 NOISE.
(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to create, assist in creating, permit, continue, or permit the continuance of any unreasonably loud, disturbing, or unnecessary noise in the municipality.
(B) Except as required by law, no person shall blow or cause to be blown within the municipality any steam whistle, electric horn, or other sound-producing device, except as alarm signals in case of fire or collision or other imminent danger, or as customary time signals by industrial whistles.
(C) It shall be unlawful for any person to play any television, radio, loudspeaker, musical instrument, or any other sound-producing or amplifying device in the municipality in such a manner or with such volume as to annoy or disturb the reasonable quiet, comfort, or repose of persons in any dwelling, hotel, or other type of residence.
(D) It shall be unlawful in the municipality for any person to make any noise on a public street or in such proximity thereto as to be distinctly and loudly audible on such street by any kind of crying, calling, or shouting or by means of any whistle, rattle, bell, gong, clapper, horn, hammer, drum, musical instrument, or other device for the purpose of attracting attention or of inviting patronage of any persons to any business whatsoever.
(E) It shall be unlawful for any person, company, agent of the same or the like, in conducting any building operations between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the following day, to create any loud noise by whatever means, or to operate or use any machinery, building equipment, hammers, saws or the like, the use of which is attended with loud or unusual noises, in any area inhabited by residents or within hearing distance of any resident.
(F) Sounds and activity normally associated with uses and/or special events, for which a temporary permit has been issued pursuant to Chapters 94, 116 and 156 of this code, do not constitute noise as defined herein. Additionally, noise related to construction and repair of public roadways, public works projects and other projects permitted by the town is not a violation of this section.

TRASH -
§ 50.01 SCHEDULE FOR COLLECTION.
Garbage and trash shall be collected according to the schedule established by the Director of Public Services Department. Property owners and tenants shall be notified of such schedule by public notice.

§ 50.02 COLLECTION.
Garbage and trash from properties receiving service will be collected once per week. Holiday schedules will be publicly announced.

§ 50.03 NONRESIDENTIAL COMPLIANCE REQUIRED.
The proprietor of any building that is not established as a residence shall be responsible for compliance with these regulations, as applicable.

PARKING -
§ 72.01 COMPLIANCE WITH SIGNS AND MARKINGS.
When signs or markings prohibiting, limiting, or restricting stopping, standing, or parking are erected or made on, or along, streets, no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle in violation of any such sign or marking.

§ 72.02 STOPPING, STANDING, OR PARKING IN SPECIFIED PLACES.
(A) No person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle, except to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the
directions of a police officer or traffic-control device, in any of the following places:
(1) On a sidewalk.
(2) In front of a public or private driveway or so near thereto as to interfere with the ingress or egress thereof.
(3) Within an intersection.
(4) Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
(5) On a crosswalk.
(6) Within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
(7) Within 30 feet on the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic-control signal located at the side of a roadway.
(8) Between a safety zone and the adjacent curb or within 30 feet of points on a curb immediately opposite the ends
of a safety zone, unless different length is indicated by signs or markings.
(9) Within 50 feet of the nearest rail of a railroad crossing.
(10) Within 20 feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station and on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any
fire station within 75 feet of such entrance.
(11) Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when such stopping, standing, or parking would obstruct traffic.
(12) On the roadway side of any vehicle stopped or parked at the edge or curb of a street.
(13) On any bridge or other elevated structure on a street or within a street underpass.
(14) At any place where official signs prohibit stopping.
(B) No person shall move a vehicle not lawfully under his or her control into any such prohibited area or away from a
curb such distance as is unlawful.

§ 72.03 PARKING IN TRAVELLED PORTION OF STREET.
No person shall park or leave unattended any vehicle on the paved or main travelled portion of any street or highway within the municipality.

ALCOHOL -
§ 113.03 DRINKING IN PUBLIC PLACES.
No person shall drink any alcoholic beverage on the streets, parks, or public places in the municipality not licensed for on-premises consumption of alcoholic beverages.

No person shall be drunk or intoxicated in any street, public house, place of amusement, or worship or any public place in the municipality.

LITTER -
§ 50.05 DUMPING PROHIBITED.
Dumping of garbage or trash within the municipal limits is prohibited.

§ 50.07 SCATTERING GARBAGE PROHIBITED.
It shall be unlawful for any person to scatter the contents of trash or garbage containers placed out for collection.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY -
§ 156.343 PROHIBITIONS.
(A) The use of any structure as a STR that does not meet the definition of a dwelling shall be prohibited.
(B) STRs shall be prohibited within any neighborhood that specifically prohibits short-term rental activity by way of their enforceable covenants and restrictions.
(C) The use of any structure as a STR that is either defined in § 156.007 as a multi-family dwelling is prohibited.
(D) The hosting of events such as weddings, parties or similar gatherings, consisting of more than the maximum overnight occupancy of each rental dwelling, which shall not exceed two persons per bedroom, plus two additional people per rental dwelling, are prohibited.

STATE GOLF CART REGULATIONS -

The golf cart must remain within 4 miles of your home, where it is legal to drive.

The golf cart may be operated on roads with posted speeds of 35 mph or less.

The golf cart may be operated during daylight hours only.

The driver must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver’s license.
